The Habit Burger Grill Raises $5,800 for Hanford’s Schools

Three fundraisers benefit Monroe Elementary School,
Hanford West High School and Sierra Pacific High School

(IRVINE, CA – November 3, 2015) – The Habit Restaurants, Inc. (Nasdaq: HABT), an Irvine-based restaurant company, opened a Habit Burger Grill on October 28 at 1731 W. Lacey Blvd. in Hanford. Prior to officially opening, The Habit held three fundraisers, of which 100 percent of all proceeds—nearly $5,800—will benefit three local schools. Monroe Elementary School raised $1,823; Hanford West High School will receive $1,849, and Sierra Pacific High School brought in $2,089.

THE HABIT BURGER GRILL OPENS IN HANFORD

Three Pre-Opening Fundraisers will benefit
Monroe Elementary School, Hanford West High School

(IRVINE, CA – October 23, 2015) – The Habit Restaurants, Inc. (Nasdaq: HABT), an Irvine-based restaurant company best known for its award-winning Charburgers, will open a Habit Burger Grill at 1731 W. Lacey Blvd.in Hanford. The restaurant will officially open Wednesday, October 28, at 10:30 a.m.
The public will get a preview of the popular menu during fundraisers on Sunday, October 25 and Tuesday, October 27, when The Habit will donate 100 percent of all proceeds to three local schools. On Sunday, October 25, The Habit will open for lunch (11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.) benefiting Monroe Elementary School; dinner that evening (5-7 p.m.) will support Hanford West High School. At lunch on Tuesday, October 27 (11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.), Sierra Pacific High School will be the beneficiary.

The new Habit Burger Grill in Hanford totals approximately 3,200-square-feet. It accommodates 52 inside with an additional 48 outdoor patio seats. Approximately 35 new jobs have been created to staff the restaurant. The company distinguishes itself in the fast casual burger segment with its signature Charburger, menu variety and value (image attached). Some Habit food facts:

THE HABIT BURGER GRILL OPENS SECOND LOCATION WITH DRIVE-THRU IN UPLAND

(IRVINE, CA – October 13, 2015) – The Habit Restaurants, Inc. (Nasdaq: HABT), an Irvine-based restaurant company best known for its award-winning Charburgers, will open a Habit Burger Grill at 1213 W. Foothill Blvd.in Upland. The restaurant will officially open Wednesday, October 21 at 10:30 a.m., marking the second location in Upland. The Habit opened at Colonies Crossroads Shopping Center at 1071 East 19th St. in April 2014.
The public will get a preview of the popular menu during fundraisers on Sunday, October 18 and Tuesday, October 20, when The Habit will donate 100 percent of all proceeds to three local non-profits. On Sunday, October 18, The Habit will open for lunch (11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.) benefiting Foothill Family Shelter; dinner that evening (5-7 p.m.) will support the Scheu Family YMCA of Upland. At lunch on Tuesday, October 20 (11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.),Shoes That Fit will be the beneficiary.
The new Habit Burger Grill in Upland totals approximately 3,400-square-feet. It accommodates 64 inside with an additional 26 outdoor patio seats. It is one of a handful of Habit Burger Grills that features a drive-thru. Approximately 35 new jobs have been created to staff the restaurant. New at The Habit Burger Grill: Tempura Jalapeno Charburger

Limited time special created for Habit fans who like it spicy

(Nasdaq: HABT), an Irvine-based restaurant company best known for its award-winning Charburgers, has announced the introduction of a spicy Tempura Jalapeño Charburger. The limited time special is available now through November 24 at participating Habit Burger Grill restaurants and is priced at $4.95 (image attached).

The new Tempura Jalapeño Charburger starts with flavorful jalapeño chile peppers that are crisped to a light golden brown and placed on top of a fresh, seasoned chargrilled beef patty topped with melted American cheese, chopped lettuce, hand-sliced tomatoes and pickles. It’s served on a toasted bun spread with housemade spicy jalapeño ranch mustard.

The Habit Burger Grill Opening Second Florida Location in Miami

(IRVINE, CA –September 22, 2015) – The Habit Restaurants, Inc. (Nasdaq: HABT), will open the doors in Miami next week to its second Habit Burger Grill in Florida. A leading consumer magazine recently named The Habit Burger Grill the “Best Tasting Burger” in the nation out of 65 burger chains that were reviewed.

The restaurant will officially open on Tuesday, September 29 at 10:30 a.m. at Fountain Square,
9971 West Flagler Street, Suite 180, Miami, 33174. The Habit Burger Grill opened its first Florida location in Delray Beach in July and a Royal Palm Beach location will follow Miami later this year.

The Habit to Launch ‘No Kid Hungry’ Campaign

Habit Burger partners with No Kid Hungry to help end childhood hunger in the U.S.;
guests who make a donation receive a free Charburger with cheese certificate

(IRVINE, CA – Aug. 26, 2015) – Doing its part to help end the problem of childhood hunger in America, The Habit Restaurants, Inc. (Nasdaq: HABT) is launching a partnership with No Kid Hungry in which guests are encouraged to donate at the register and, in return, receive a certificate to enjoy a complimentary Charburger with cheese on their next visit through October 14, 2015.

The campaign, which will run nationwide at participating* Habit Burger Grill locations between August 26 and September 30, 2015, addresses the serious issue of childhood hunger in the United States where 1 in 5 children cannot count on their next meal. During the campaign guests at The Habit who donate $2 to No Kid Hungry, a national campaign from the nonprofit Share Our Strength, will receive a certificate for a free Charburger with cheese good on a future visit.

The Habit/No Kid Hungry partnership will raise funds from 120 Habit restaurants nationwide and donations will directly support No Kid Hungry’s mission to wipe out childhood hunger in the U.S. by connecting kids in need with nutritious food and teaching families how to cook healthy, affordable meals.

On National Cheeseburger Day, September 18, officials from The Habit will travel to New York City to join executives from No Kid Hungry to ring the NASDAQ opening bell together.

The Habit Burger Grill Raises Over $4000 for Las Vegas Charities

LAS VEGAS, NV (August 18, 2015) – The Habit Burger Grill teamed up with five local charities last week, and raised over $4,000 during its pre-opening fundraising events in Las Vegas. The restaurant donated 100 percent of the proceeds raised to five non-profit organizations, including Las Vegas Boy Scouts, ScoutReach, Spread the Word Nevada, Southern Nevada Children First and Three Square Food Bank.

Before opening its doors to the public on Wednesday, August 12, guests were treated to a special sneak peek of The Habit’s signature Charburgers, sandwiches and salads, topped with flame-grilled tri-tip, chicken or line-caught sushi grade tuna, all custom built and made-to order, during the restaurant’s fundraising events.

“A heartfelt thank you to the Las Vegas community who made our opening a success. At The Habit, we believe in taking care of the communities in which we serve, and we were thrilled with the support of our guests as we geared up for our grand opening,” said Andrew Jeter, president and CEO of 12 Ventures LLC, a franchisee of The Habit Burger Grill. “We served over 400 guests during the three-day long event and are grateful to everyone who dined for a cause.”
