Habit Opens in Northridge with New Drive Thru & Solar Panels

You can now get your Habit in Northridge on 9215 Reseda Blvd between Dearborn and Prairie Streets. The new Habit Burger Grill not only features our first drive thru, but it’s also equipped with solar panels to help off-set some of our traditional energy sources. (Panels pictured on the red awning in above photo). Northridge’s dining room is open until 10 p.m. Sunday – Thursday, 11 p.m. Friday – Saturday. The drive thru is open an hour later than the dining room every night.

Green Initiatives at New Habit Burgers

As we open new restaurants, we are incorporating building features that are friendly to the environment. At our new El Segundo location we installed architectural cylinders that serve as rain collectors to recycle water. Our table tops and interior siding is made from bamboo, a renewable resource. The paint we used is eco-friendly, non-toxic and  low VOC. See more pictures of our  new El Segundo restaurant.

Line & Hook Caught Albacore Tuna

Habit has fresh albacore tuna flown in three times a week from Fiji.

The tuna is hook and line caught, a sustainable practice.

certificateCertificates of Achievement

At the Habit, we are happy to work with a number of elementary schools to help them reward their students with our “Certificates of Achievement”, each good for a FREE Kid’s meal from The Habit. Please ask a Habit manager for more details to get your school involved.
