A Walk on Water is a nonprofit that harnesses the transformative power of the ocean to deliver surf therapy to children with unique needs and their families. Their mission is rooted in empowerment, helping kids unlock pride, confidence, and their inner athlete through the emotionally and physically impactful experience of surfing.

This special day brought together more than 250 attendees, volunteers, and families for a full day on the sand, and Habit was honored to be part of it. Our Habit truck team provided lunch for all attendees and volunteers, fueling their day with fresh, made-to-order meals. Meanwhile, members of our Social Purpose Team, Stacy and Irma, rolled up their sleeves to support food and drink distribution and pitch in with beach operations throughout the event.
“Seeing all the smiles, watching kids catch their first waves, warmed our hearts,” said Stacy Hua, Senior Manager, Insights & Analytics and Social Purpose Lead at Habit Burger & Grill. “It was a beautiful reminder of the joy that happens when community, purpose, and the ocean come together.”
